Heart for Brain Race (formerly known as Horse Race 4Brain) is a unique race with a clear mission:
to raise awareness among a broad public about the importance of a healthy brain.
With this race, we want to:
- raise awareness about brain diseases
- contribute to the quality of life of patients
- promote a healthy lifestyle through exercise, nutrition, and social connection
Once again this year, we dedicate our race to a greater cause:
Waregem Koerse supports Heart for Brain,
an organization dedicated to groundbreaking research on brain tumors and other neurological disorders.
After the success of previous editions, we continue in this direction:
we are committed to making a social impact, raising awareness, and supporting innovative brain research.

What is the Duo Race “Heart for Brain”?
During the Duo Race at Waregem Koerse, participating companies can choose a cause within the larger mission of the former Horse Race 4Brain. The funds raised from the prizes won are donated to the selected cause.

- Prize money: €2,500 – €20,000
- Distance: 1,800 meters
