🚲 By bike

🚗 Coming by car anyway?
Avoid the city centre by car!
- On Tuesday 1 September, on-street parking is free, and so are the station car park on Boulezlaan and the Weymeerschen car park.
- Parking in the Zuiderpromenade, Het Pand and Waregem Expo car parks remains paid.
All information can be found at www.parkereninwaregem.be.
Dropping off and picking up?
Bringing a friend or your child to the festivities? Then the kiss & ride zones on Processietraat (opposite the “old cemetery”) and on Damweg (junction with Keukeldam) are the ideal spots to arrange to meet. The location is a little away from the hustle and bustle of the festivities, but is easy and always accessible.
- On race Tuesday you can drop people off closest to the hippodrome on Damweg (via Churchilllaan and Keukeldam).
- There is a special taxi parking area on Zuiderlaan between Hippodroomstraat and Nokerseweg (accessed via Damweg).
- People with a disability can, with their disability card, be granted permission to drive through as far as the roundabout at Leeuwke, reached via Franklin Rooseveltlaan.
Golden tip
The city administration recommends that everyone simply come to Waregem city centre during Waregem Koerse by train, bus, bike or on foot. Or just arrange with your neighbours to travel together and make a fun trip of it.
