Can I leave the site after scanning my ticket and re-enter with the same ticket?
No, once you have entered with a scanned ticket and then leave the racecourse, you cannot re-enter with the same ticket.
Once inside is inside. Once outside is outside!
I cannot stand for long. Can I bring a small chair?
Only on the central field is it allowed to bring a folding chair. The responsible steward at gates 5 or 6 will decide whether the chair you have meets the safety requirements. It is therefore possible that this chair may be refused.
Up to what age can children enter Waregem Koerse for free?
Children can up to and including the age of 12 enjoy the Waregem Koerse event at the racecourse for free. These children must have an entry ticket. This ticket can be requested:
- either online via our website,
- either at the counter during the opening hours of the secretariat
- either at the sales counters at the entrances of the racecourse on the day of Waregem Koerse.
Are dogs allowed on the racecourse during the event?
No, dogs are prohibited on the racecourse for safety reasons.
What does a ticket cost?
- a seat in the covered grandstand costs 60 €
- a weigh area ticket costs until 30/06/2024 25 €
- a central field ticket costs until 16/08/2024 13 €

Which tickets can I purchase?
Currently, you can purchase the following tickets:
- Covered grandstand with seated areas, divided into six zones
- Weigh area
- Central field
How can I buy tickets for Waregem Koerse?
You have two possibilities:
- either order tickets online via the website www.waregemkoerse.be. Click on the “tickets (buy)” button after which you will be guided through an ordering and purchasing procedure. Finally, you can print your purchased ticket(s) yourself in the form of an E-ticket in A4 format. With this form, you can present yourself at one of the entrances of the racecourse on the day of Waregem Koerse (29/08/2023).
- either present yourself from 01/07/2023 at the secretariat of Waregem Koerse at 8790 Waregem, Holstraat 97 where Astrid will help you purchase tickets. You can pay cash or by Bancontact. For the opening hours of the secretariat, we refer you to the website menu (practical info -> secretariat opening hours).
Where can I present myself with my purchased tickets?
There are three types of tickets, namely for:
- a seat in the covered grandstand (opposite the famous Gaverbeek jump)
- the weigh area (asphalt section of the racecourse).
- the central field of the racecourse (inside the trotting and galloping track)
Via the website menu (practical info -> opening of Waregem Koerse doors), you will clearly see at which entrance(s) you must present yourself with your respective purchased tickets.
Where can I find toilets on the racecourse during the event?
Both on the asphalt section of the racecourse (called the weigh area) and on the central field, numerous toilet facilities are provided for both ladies and gentlemen.
On the weigh area, there are now five “toilet zones”, including a real toilet village near gate 2.
Via the website menu (practical info -> opening of Waregem Koerse doors), you will soon be able to find all toilet locations on the racecourse.
